Katrina Kaif is very
fashion conscious
Katrina Kaif is very fashion
conscious. She usually shops her own garments for her film. She at no cost
would compromise with her dress. To look glamorous and stylish is always
at the top of Kat’s choice list. So when director Prakash Jha asked Katrina
Kaif to wear dull saree in ‘Rajneeti’, the actress had a tough time to
convince the director and vice versa.
Prakash Jha’s feels that
dull and light colored saree would be appropriate for Katrina Kaif’s character
as she is essaying the role of a politician. But Kat preferred simple and
dark colored saree. On that matter, the actress and the director has some
light brawl. However, Katrina finally settled with Pakash’s viewpoint.
Apart from Katrina, ‘Rajneet’
stars Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar and Ranbir Kapoor in the pivotal role
This was the night to
beat all nights in the city, with some of Bollywood’s most sought after
names setting the red carpet and in some cases, even the stage on fire!
So if Katrina Kaif sizzled
on Paisa Paisa, Saif Ali Khan made the ladies swoon when he performed on
Shukranallah. But before that, Saif recited some shaayari which he dedicated
to all the women present there. The function hosted by Provogue sent out
a loud and clear message for women empowerment and to show support for
the same, women from all walks of life came to attend the show. Neha Dhupia,
looking pretty in a cornflower blue dress compered the show.
Freida Pinto made a quick
entry; she was followed by Priya Dutt, who shared her gyaan on empowering
the female gender. Genelia D’Souza looked like a doll in her black saree
— this gal looks as good in traditional wear as she does in Western! Koena
Mitra ensured all eyes were on her as she stepped in wearing a bright yellow
dress while Mugdha Godse, who was one of the performers that night as well,
chose a full length halter cocktail dress that accentuated her curves.
As if she needs that! Aditi Govitrikar and sister Arzoo, Gul Panag, Nauheed
Cyrusi, Aarti Chabria and Ritu Kumar also were spotted at the do. The men
made their presence felt too — Pankaj Advani, Kunal Kohli, Anurag Kashyap
and Rahul Dev were seen cheering and applauding for the women achievers
who have excelled in their respective fields and were felicitated for the
same. A power-packed show for sure! |
