DDA Housing Lottery Result Full List

New Delhi, Dec 16 (IANS) Hundreds of applicants thronged the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) office Tuesday as the draw for 5,238 flats under its Housing Scheme 2008 was held.

The computerised lottery draw was held in the presence of four judges at Vikas Sadan. Nearly 250 applicants were also present inside the conference room where the lottery was being held.

It took 28 minutes to complete the lottery process and names of 5,238 successful applicants out of 566,906 will be soon uploaded on DDA website www.dda.org.in.  said DDA spokesperson Neemo Dhar.

According to Dhar, the successful applicants will receive an official letter from DDA by Dec 30.

The successful applicants have to deposit the money within two months, failing which their name would be cancelled. Besides the stipulated time of two months, we will give some more grace time if applicant seeks it, Dhar said.

However, as the draw was being held, some people held a protest at the DDA office. They alleged that the whole process was unfair.

The DDA has told that it will put a huge screen outside the office premises for applicants to watch the lottery process but no arrangements had been made. It was totally unfair, said Vidhi Sharma, an advocate.

Dhar said the DDA will dispatch the demand drafts of Rs.150,000 submitted with the application form by Dec 30 on respective addresses of applicants who failed to get a flat.

The flats are in different parts of city, including Rohini, Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, Motia Khan, Narela, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Shalimar Bagh, Dilshad Garden and Lok Nayak Puram. The DDA offered similar schemes in the past also.

Reg:    DDA Housing (Flat allotment) Scam – 2008.

Another Scam, which took place about 27 year ago.
25,340 registrants of Rohini Residential Scheme are still waiting for Dream Plot.

There is one another ‘Scam’.
25,340 registrants, who applied and registered themselves in DDA’s Rohini Residential Scheme – 1981 are still waiting for allotment of a promised plot from DDA.

The ‘Rohini land’, which was acquired on behalf of ‘Rohini Residential Scheme’ only has already been illegally diverted/ siphoned off for other ‘Non-Rohini scheme related’ projects.

Though there was no provision for allocating this land to ‘Co-operative Group Housing Societies’, about 375 hectare land was allotted to 152 Co-operative Housing Societies.
In initial Rohini scheme, there was no provision of auction of residential plots. But, DDA has already auctioned 1,119 plots of different size in Rohini area and has already collected crores of Rupees.

Based on the facts, submitted by me, Director of Public Grievance – Cabinet Secretariat has already issued notice to DDA on 05.11.2008 and no reply has been sent by DDA / UD Ministry, so far.

On the basis of the same facts, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has also acknowledged and forwarded my ‘grievance’ to CVO-DDA to probe this case.

In recent past, Aaj Tak, Delhi Aaj Tak and CNBC-TV18 have already carried out ‘part stories’ on this. Web links and title of this story on CNBC-TV18 are:
