Priyanka chopra wore
a Manish Malhotra sheer mesh sari at the 2012 Colors Screen Awards at MMRDA
Grounds in Mumbai on Saturday, January 14.
Priyanka paired her ivory
sari, embellished with sequined patchwork and maroon velvet border, with
a sleeveless maroon velvet blouse accented with sequined hem.
She accessorized with
chandelier earrings and a sparkling cuff in her right arm.
Her hair was styled in
face framing loose waves and an off-center parting.
Priyanka's makeup was
done by celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor: Smokey eyes with red
brick hue eye shadow on the inner half of the eyes took center stage; natural
look blush and red brick lip gloss rounded the fresh face look.
Priyanka won two awards
at the event that was co-hosted by Shahid Kapoor, her co-star in two films
and on again and off again boyfriend: Best Villain for Saat Khoon Maaf
and Best Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan, the second host of the event, for Don
2.
She also performed to
a medley of the best Indian item numbers atop a moving train (vehicle shaped
like a train). She danced to songs like Chaiya Chaiya (Dil Se), UP Bihar
(Shool) and Chamma Chamma (China Gate) and her upcoming film Agneepath
songs Gun Gun Guna and Raat ke Dai Bhaje. She received a standing ovation
for her enthralling performance.
Priyanka's first release
of 2012 Agneepath, with co-star Hrithik Roshan, will open in theaters on
January 26. |
