Amitabh Bachchan new Surgery Speaking to media personnel, his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan [ Images ] said the surgery had been successful. 'My father underwent abdominal surgery at a hospital today. The operation was minor and it lasted approximately three hours. He is fine and in the recovery room," said Abhishek. He added, "If all goes well, he will be discharged on Sunday". "As the actor and his family arrived at the Seven Hills Hospital, they decided to seek the blessings at the Balaji temple situated inside the premises and proceeded towards their executive suite situated on the 8th floor," said a source present at the hospital. The legendary actor is about to be operated today.
